The artisanal criaderas and solera system used to make 1866, unique due to its 16 scales, and the warm, brilliant colours of the brandy, inspired Emma when making her masterpiece. The artist brought her perspective and unique style to the design of the bottle and gift box for our iconic brand.

"This project really inspired me to get out of my comfort zone and explore a completely new colour palette. What first and foremost grabbed my attention was the beautiful rich amber colour of Brandy 1866. A new colour that I felt the urge to explore and incorporate in my art. When visiting the bodega in El Puerto de Santa Maria, it struck me that there are many similarities between my style of fluid art and 1866’s craftsmanship. Fluids moving over time; blending, then resting; becoming something new and unique.”
The Limited Edition created by the artist is based on the warm colours of Brandy 1866.
“When it comes to my choice of colours in this piece, I felt very inspired by the luxurious amber and the contrast between the earthly tones and lush flowers in bloom, specifically the Jacaranda; everything I experienced when visiting Andalusia and the bodega in El Puerto de Santa Maria. The artwork gives me a feeling of gratitude and excitement; it feels powerful, yet relaxed. Extinguished and rich, without losing balance.”
